Hey guys, I just took my nclex-pn for the first time today and I know I'll sound repetetive, but my computer shut off at 85 questions. I'm really impressed with all of those people who have had the capability of actually remembering how many questions of this they got, and how many questions of that they got.To pass the exam, your competency level must meet the exam’s passing standard . According to the NCSBN's NCLEX-RN and NCLEX-PN Detailed Test Plans, the questions you encounter on the NCLEX require you to think critically and analyze or evaluate clinical situations. It’s not enough to simply recall the correct answer, you must be able to ...The passing standard is 50%. Meaning you have to answer questions correctly at least 50% of the time. If by 85 questions the nclex is 95% confident you can or cannot do that, it will shut off. I passed at 85 questions on my first try. I used Saunders, nclex bootcamp, and the HESI book from evolve.
